To gain more traction I should switch to a "softer" rear spring correct? I am currently running blue in the front and yellow in the rear.

You may want to go to a saddle pack conversion right away and/or Exotech chassis.

Look into a chassis brace/garodisks/2way pistons from RCShox too.
Thanks for the info! I'm going to pick up the garodisk and chassis brace at some point. I just want to get the major things now. What is the Exotech chassis about?

it will handle it with no issues, the locals around here run the MMP on 4s Ebuggies with 1900's. I am not a fan of Castle quality but they will handle the power.

I'll be going for a still very strong option but with a little flashy Blue anodized hardware.

So as far as the (I believe) 6 of you who are waiting on Orders.
~2 of you, Are in the mail. You can PM and ask.

The rest of you. (unless you need your Brace ASAP, PM me for the older style) Are on hold until I recieve the parts to build the FT Chassis Braces.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience but you will enjoy the bling compared to the old utility braces. Thank you for your patience. I am one guy, and I will rush my best between work and (maybe a little play? PLEASE?) To get all these out ASAP. All FT parts are on Order Now. I should be building this weekend if all my orders went through.

Thanks alot guys for supporting Fellow members, Mac, Mantis, and myself.

While I wait on the hardware, i'm going to get to work on this Diff thing.
Will take a Diff THING if you make them....im intrigued! Just came in from a few hours of ahem "research" and am happy to report that my Standard CoyoteTek brace is still in one piece. Wish I could say more for my SECOND rear diff thats clicking like a Mother#$#$!@. Keep up the good work Shaun!

I think i'm going to race my Slash4x4 this winter and send my truck to Mantis to be redone.

If you're cool with it, Mantis. I have so much stuff to do at work, and the braces, diffs, and school. I just don't have enough time for my own Fkn Truck anytime soon.

Thanks guys! I've switched to Tekin but I have an extra MMP around. Are most guys running an RX8?

Bolding mine on the part that isn't correct. Body roll is a function of weight transfer. It doesn't cause anything, it's evidence that something happened (effect). Same as the body pitching fore/aft when you gas it or hit the brakes, it's caused by the driver.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didnt we say essentially the same thing?
Except you're getting your causes and effects confused. I could bicker about your conclusion, but it's right enough I won't bust you up on it.

Sorry to be a jerk about it, but it matters.

Anyone running a losi will swear that the RX8 is the only way to go. Due to the losi being so heavy is it harder on electronics so a 8 scale esc doesnt have to work as hard compared to a 10 scale esc. But in this truck it is lighter so a 10 scale esc is fine to run. I currently run a LRP sxx model esc.

no worries, i just want to learn and i did, and stand corrected, thanks!
body roll does not cause weight transfer
from http://www.turnfast.com/tech_handling/handling_springs
Note: many people are under the misconception that body roll causes weight transfer. This is not true. See the weight transfer article for details about this.
