That is a good question Id like to know as well. But if it's in the $70 range you can buy a elite mount for $70 that works just like the 8.2

Yes it will fit fine. The only real difference in the 2 chassis is +3mm

Let us know how that works out ... In the rear especially. I'd like those 8.2 mudguards.

I just got one of these, but I'm really new to the hobby and need some advice. My car has the Mamba Monster ESC and Castle 2200 kv motor. What would be the best LiPo for this set-up? Maybe an example of the best money can buy as well as what are the best bang for your buck? Oh and I'll be trying to learn to race and just running around if that makes a difference. Also to note I have an Passport Ultra Charger. Thanks for helping an excited noob!

I would suggest the 2650. On 4s it is stupid fast I run a 14 tooth pinion on mine on 4s and uncontrollable speed.

don't quote me on it, but on both my ofna GTp2e and the SC8e i sold recently the esc wire runs under the battery tray. i have seen pics of guys who just hold it up on top of the diff housing with a zip tie. depends how clean you want it i suppose.
