Maybe this has been covered, but I don't remember. Whats the largest motor (diameter and length) that will work with the stock motor mount. I am currently running a 36mm can on my conversion (didn't come with the new 8.2E mount) with a BCE nitro chassis and the foam pad installed. Doesn't seem like I could fit a larger motor, but could if I spaced the center diff mounts up a little more. I know a Grid or elite mount would solve the problem but I am saving the "extra" racing budget for my new Novarossi engine for next years nitro season

Just use DE mudguards.

I run a CC 2200kv motor with 19t pinion on a large track. Good torque, top end, and temps around 135-145F after 15 min runs on 4s batts. Works good for me.

This will change few components of suspension geometry making car much more stable. New 8.2 wing mount takes care of having to modify old wing mount.
Can you post a setup sheet with all these parts replaced or suggest one to look at. I have all the new parts you listed I just need to set them up now. Thanks

Anyone running a tekin rx8 in a rc8be?

Does the rx lead reach all the way to the rx box?

No it doesnt if you route it the way it's supposed to be. You will have to pick up an extension wire to make it the whole way.

6" should do it.

Like ChrisH02 said. 6in is plenty. I use a 6in on mine. It's only short a few inches. I just got my rx8 back from Tekin and my wire is longer then before. mine will reach all the way into the bottom of the radio box now. I could probably go with 3in and be fine. But I had the 6in from before I sent it in.

Hello, I've been reading this post, and I don't see if this question has been answered: the motor mount of rc8.2e fits on rc8be chassis? I have a new rc8be, but the motor mount of the rc8.2e is better than mine. Somebody knows?
