I have added some weight in front of the servo area to bring some of the chassis weight forward with the stick packs. It does help the front stick better and keeps the nose down in the air. On the track I run on 2 oz feels best. I have gone up to 5oz but it does make the rear skate more on power around corners.

They go on the shock shaft between the spring cup and the shock body, to limit up travel.

when you had the 5oz, did it feel more stable though?
With the exotek i am adding no weight, and then balance it via shock spring. the rear end is very stable, but can slide out if I force it to, it feels alot like my 1/8e buggy did.

Do you guys agree with their logic that it's better to run the saddlepacks side by side rather than down the middle?
i like them better in line, i tried both.

I'm happy with my pro4 540 4600 motor...I was running a 4.5 550 d3... I would say my pro4 is just a little faster at the top end but with the same amount of torque as my d3.

I tested a truck set-up with a perfect 50/50 weight balance ready to run with the body. It took 5oz on the nose and I had to remove the rear bumper completely to do it with my set-up. It was not great under heavy braking corners because the rear tires would leave the ground. But it did jump and land good and powered through corners better. The rear would break out real quick if going into 180 corners if you stabbed the throttle too soon. Kind of a wicked tail whip. It might have been real good on a larger outdoor track but the tighter indoor track not my first choice. Adding the rear bumper and only 2oz on the front has the best feel right now.
