. This would probably be the only way I would get a chassis, I much prefer inline mounting, plus it's easier to install the wires. I like the velcro style mount that he started with. Makes it easy to get the saddles in and out of the truck if need be. Also like how it's adjustable with several mounting holes.
Many claim exotec aluminum chassis is the way to go...so there is an aluminum upgrade that it "needs".
Personally still running the original original plastic everywhere and it is holding up to the abuse, except for the suspension arms....those bend like wet spaghetti...but no aluminum options for those that I have seen....

and the argument of 100.00 is too much? Cmon now, anyone on the forum that is even remotely compettive or at least trying to win is not going to sweat 100.00, this chassis will make as much of an improvement than a 100.00+ high "C" battery pack, a set of tires, 150.00 for a 540 motor??? (yet we all still have it), an SC body at least every other mth (60.00 minimum). and this chassis will literally last forever! Maybe its just me but i like to have every possible edge i can get to win and the chassis is definately an edge!
here is my saddle pack mount for the exotec chassis, they will not be on the site as i didnt plan on making them but just contact me if you want one made.

This is not to say it is bad, just that the plastic chassis with a brace (and not a ton of weight added) is fast enough to beat the current national champion. I am switching Jason back to the plastic chassis for now, as he was much faster with it.
Keith.
