Pretty sure the b6x have been white. For more grip, people put the yellow LCF pads. Or for even more, go from the B6x to the B74x pads (19mm to 11mm).

For gearing: I'm running a pretty hot 6.0 motor. 15/52 in 32pitch. 23/81 in 64 pitch. Indoor track. So maybe go up 1 or 2 for a big outdoor track.
