My DNX408 took a good few runs to break in. I remember the diffs being very tight. I don't know whether that is the same with the DEX408, but if it is the run time can only improve. :)

Thank you for your response. That is useful information. I plan on running 10 minute finals so I do not see the need for 6500's. Hopefully the DEX408 will land in the UK some time soon...

This also used to happen to me. I was doing everything I could to cool it but still had shutdowns. I sent the RX back to Futaba and they repaired it with an update and I have not had one problem...

Did you try the +2mm wheel hexes on the rear? I found that traction improved a lot. It also did the same with different manufacturer springs.

I am really looking forward to this. Much as I love the DNX, I love the simplicity of electric (particularly cleaning). My local club races them together which is ideal.
