Use a drill bit the same size as the hole and drill through both the hex and the axle. As the hex is aluminium (and therefor softer) it will give instead of the axle which is harder steel.

On what buggy is the body to be fitted on? I guess you have to make some custom body mounts on your car, but you might get lucky and find some universal mounts that are adjustable in every direction.

Thanks a lot! There was no other way than using a scalpel to cut out for the reflectors in the headlights, so i was pretty shakey before doing it. But with small gentle cuts it went as planned :)
