To be honest, I was talking about racing the actual Tamiya 540 motor driven big rig...the actual 1/14 scale tractor with or without trailer...
NOT a touring car with a body swap...but other people...

Shagino, I know the feeling...and have friends doing the same thing you are. Question is why? Because they don't feel "welcomed" or competitive enough, etc. to be on the track.

oval racing...

Hey oval is not dead...last few seasons we ran oval nights during the points series at the westgate cup....guess what we drew a bunch of guys in and they were beggin for more. Too much of one thing...

First off, good night racing all!
Had a few bumps and crashes, smoked motors, and carnage...but in the end we had a pretty smooth layout, fun time and improved a lot from the start of the night.

Great racing Friday night....it was all left turns again as we ran oval for the second time this season.
Qualify went well, ended up running 2 times for seeding for mains.

Setup an oval for Friday night because Scouts were using the commons for pinewood derby. Had a bunch of tables setup in the gym, AND for some reason we had a longer straight...

Practice last Friday

Had a good time on Friday night, we ran oval as a test track and the laps were in the low 4's!!!
Winning time I think was by Tony with 36 laps if I remember correctly?
Kids race was in the 27 lap...
