Personally I would go with either a pede 4*4 if you dont want to spend that much cash..

But my fav is the e-revo brushless edition...it kicks but!!!

Unfortunatly it will only run that way of you have hing end futaba servos...

I switched to a 11.1 lipo and its one of the best radio battery combos i have...

Max amps are the worst and most expensive batteries you can buy..

They puff and dont last as long as anything else, I assume you are talking about lipos.

I have bought the nitro savage and hated it, I bought the e-revo and loved it.

Someone down the park had a hpi savage flux, it kept flipping...

Dont know if its a racers radio though, I use mainly for baja and its the best...
