Come to think of it that sounds like a more reasonable explanation. Dirt is way too small to cause the scratches I saw. Glow looks intact but the con rod is scratched heavily at the crank pin.

I've just ordered the new Hudy clutch spring, the hard one (black). Any suggestions on how far I should clamp it down. 1mm? 1.2mm? Right now I use the Mugen Super Hard and that clamps down to .4~.6...

What's your front droop setting? I set mine to 0 but when the traction came up the car had a lot of understeer. Setting the front to 1 helped with this quite a bit.
