I used mugen shim and they fit perfect. There was slight movement side to side and after shimming there was minimal movement. Make sure not to shim too tightly though.

There is some wear but I wouldn't think it would cause this issue. How can I go about shimming these?

I have the diff removed and when turning the outdrives it spins smoothly. Still haven't taken apart the diff but on my last diff fluid change all the gears...
