You can try the RP tires by themselves with your favorite insert/wheel combination. My set of RP40 has lasted 8 runs, and there was still plenty of "meat" to go. I gave them away...

Good points Adrian. I also found that each tire will require a slightly different method of prepping and saucing. But I do believe the RP once you get them going, they are very competitive :nod:

Yes, I have. Too much grip! I tried putting the sauce on and then "bake" it in with the warmers and it proved to be too much for SoCal (too much initial front bite) even with the RP40...

I think that's the MSRP on it, the MSRP on Take off pre-mounts is around $40 as well, however, we discount them down to about $32. The same will probably be for the RP tires :)

The temperature ratins are very similar to sorex, with the exception of RP having a 30 compound instead of a 28 and 32 compound.

We tested the tires before we started selling them on indoor asphalt (high bite) and out door asphalt (medium bite) and they worked equally as well as sorex in my opinion. Very good grip...
