It's lose by means of the lower 2 screws from the front to open the casing, and not in the way. Leave it alone. Since the bolts to hold it in place doesn't affect it's setting it's a none issue.

Every car i ever had was the same way. 2 screws holds the diff housing front / rear part, and 4 screws hold the diff housing parts to one and other. Those 6 screws gone, and you lift half the housing...
