Hi, I just got my (I guess they are calling them vintage now?) 3701 Rustler and 3906 E-maxx out of my parents basement. They've been there for about 16 years but I've got them up and running again. Definitely interested in getting something a bit more race oriented as well.

Default Howdy from Texas!

After a 20+ year break from the hobby I am back into it. Along with a couple kids to get into it. We are getting into racing in the north Texas area. A few stock Slashes and I picked up a Tekno SCT410 also.

Hi! Seems like a lot of guys I'm coming back to the hobby after 20+ years, and it's on road 1/10 touring. How wonderful the new lipo and brushless motors look, I can't wait to try.

Hi everyone!

I'm coming back from 12 years break, I'm Portuguese, when I stopped I was only 18 years old now I'm 30, in those years I received 100€ from my parents per month but I couldn't support more the hobby, I got my first 1/8 buggy but I sold it to a known person and a few weeks ago I bought my car back for 65€ it is a Hobao Hyper 8 Pro with a Picco P3-R motor .

I those years there was a really great forum in Portugal called e-modelismo which is over I abandoned this hobby when everyone started to get 1/8 off road electric cars.

This is my first post, I tried to understand if this forum is more active than rcuniverse and I think it is.

I'm restoring the car which is the funniest part for me, I'm also trying to convert it to electric but keep both systems possible of working (individually).

I will have a lot of question because there are a lot of new things for me like telemetry/ 2.4 Ghz / Lipos and chargers / Servos HV etc.

Hi All,

My name is James. Raced the old school RC10 T3 back in the day. Got back into the hobby with a 2WD Slash a few years ago and built it up. I have a couple boats and recently got bit by the Mini Z Bug. I am part of the Mini Z 96 world challenge and just posted my first times today!

Default Been a While

Greetings all. Looking at getting back into the hobby after almost 20 years. Started with 80's RTR vehicles, built my first kit around '93 (Tamiya Mud Blaster), then got into nitro boats. Haven't touched a transmitter since mid 2000's.

I'm really interested in the VTA class. Looks like an awesome way to learn how to drive and have fun at the same time.

Default Getting back to RC...... and new to this RC site.

Hi all,

My last RC car was decades ago and its only recently when I chanced upon a steal-priced Litehawk Overdrive MT that I got bitten by the RC bug AGAIN.

Just bought 2 used Traxxas last night - Stampede 2wd and Slash 2wd with brushless motor. But today, all I've is the Litehawk Overdrive and the Traxxas Stampede .....and an almost compelte parts lists for the Slash2 (long story with the Slash).

Still wondering whether to pull the trigger on my 2021 Holy Grail RC ... the Redcat Racing 1/8 Kaiju which is super tempting at only C$499 here in Canada! Tick tock, tick tock....

Anyways, I;'d like to immerse myself and my 3.5 years old son to the RC world here in Toronto and hope to connect with you all soon.

Cheers...

Hey all.

Used to race 1/8 scale nitro offroad with my XT8 and Jammin buggy. I introduced races and revamped the track called Nuclear-RC in Parkton MD. Loads of fun. We hosted a ROAR race series there.

In Jacksonville, FL now and don't see much Nitro offroad tracks near me aside from Callahan RC.

Thought I'd say hey
