howdy, use to race from 86 to 92..ish...the fast forward to 2004 or so and picked up a crawler....10 rigs later found a TB02 that was a really good deal. Am on other boards with the same name, just trying to meet and greet and help others get into this hobby. And learn some on the way.

Mostly we GTG and trail ride or street bash...no points, just friends get together and have a good time.

Default New to the hobby

Hi everyone. My name is Brian. I have a Sprint 2 Sport. I noticed that the handling on the car is very difficult is there anyway to adjust the steering on the car besides the remote. It seems to be loose out of box. If anyone can give me a couple ideas I would be grateful.

Thanx
Brian

Default New From CT

Hello all, my name is Mike and I'm from Hamden CT. I haven't had a car since I was younger. A friend of mine invited me up to Wolcott Hobbies in Waterbury CT a few times and he let me run his spare TA B4. I must say it really brought back some great childhood feelings. I would like to get a car of my own. Been looking into the B44.2, hope to learn a lot.

New Lipos and Brushless motors are like having everything you wanted back in the day. Loooooonnnnnnnng run times and efficient power. Take care of your stuff and it will last a long time with far less maintenance! (Don't neglect it though! )

hello there,
my name is ryan. electronics been my main hobby for some time (kit's, small robots etc) and I have recently fiddling with rc. Main project for now is restoring an old jet hopper turbo I found at the junk shop-have got motors going but still fiddling with the servo. It's in the offroad section for now, don't really know where else to put it...any ideas?

I have ALOT to learn!

Thanks

Hey what's up everyone.

I'm new to these forums and also RC in general but I'm actually good at fabricating/fixing things, just lacking in the more complicated electronic knowledge department but with this forum there's still hope for me yet lol.

I will eventually begin building a RC mud truck powered by a 29cc engine... after i figure out what area my build should go, I'll post more info on my design to see how the more experienced people feel about my ideas.

Thanks, see y'all later.

Hello all,

Just getting back into rc cars starting by making a 1/10th scale metal tumbler batmobile. I enjoy making things myself then improving the design. Plenty of ideas but not enough time to do them all at once

Thumbs up Hey.

Hey All,

I am new to the RC hobby. (hence why posting here obviously) I am just a beginner.

I recently bought a HBX Quake-wave 2wd brushed off-road buggy, and it's quite a lot of fun. (not bad at all for $149)

I went out and bought a ni-mh peak charger and 3600 mah red-back racing battery along with new rear tires, as the one's you get stock standard do not last very long, unless you use them on sand. (just need to remember traction over just the look of the Tyre)

Anyways, I am looking forward to getting into more RC hobbying in the future, and getting on the forums to check a few things out.

RChobbyist.
