Default Power Issues

I have an rc car with a recently installed brushless motor. Its just rear wheel drive and when the wheels arent on the ground i can run it at full power but once I put them on the ground it loses most of its power. Anyone know what it could be?

You might have a loose slipper clutch. When you put the vehicle on the ground does it make a high pitched whining sound? If so you need to tighten up the slipper.

Any new noises?

Could be several things. Something wrong with the electronics, gear mesh too far apart, slipper clutch too loose, something wrong with transmission/drivetrain where only 1 wheel is getting power and the other is diff'ing out.
