Most fun I've had with any boat.

Those boats are real fun! Ive got 1 my self.

They scoot with a little tinkering and some electronics swapped in and out of them.

Ebay is the only place I can find now, for about $45. We used to be able to get them off raidentech.com, two boats and free shipping was about $55. Parts are kinda scarce, anytime I find jet pumps on Ebay I snatch a few. They are a lot of fun with a little work, I recommend not removing the jet drive unless you really have to, you can replace the ESC/motor/servo in these boats pretty easily!

I have mine setup on two paralleled 2S packs, which balances out the hull nicely. Here's some more pics:

Water pickup and some glue from the factory I can't get off the hull

Water outlet

Custom water cooled R1. Probably not necessary but I figured why not, it can't hurt. Can anyone guess what heatsink that is??

Mine have feigao 20mm motors in them with water jackets I got from maxxprod.com. You want about 3900-4400kV for 2S setups and 2900-3200kV for 3S setups. Just make sure the motor has a 2.3mm shaft and it drops right in, no mods necessary. The servo mount was super easy as well for the HS81 servo, I'll get a pic up, uses the stock servo mount with a little easy modification.

McCall, ID. We got over 200" of snow this year but sadly that creek is tiny now, still big enough to run, but not that much fun only being 14" wide. All the snow around there is gone and melting fast, I should have access to much better creeks in the next week!

Ty, I noticed on the R/CU thread you had tried the water cooled 4800kv.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=8595

Do you think it would be OK if it was run on 2 cells?
