Do you think it would be OK if it was run on 2 cells?
I think it would be fine on 2S, yep.

I would like one of these too, but I don't want to change the pump. What motor/esc combo would you reccomend to give it more power and speed, but not so much the stock pump explodes. Thanks, Charlie.

Oops, that's what I get for writing my reply before I watched the video. No need to answer my question again, I found where you answered it on the video page.

Yep and just drill two holes in the transom to get at the motor screws because it has been really hard to seal the pump to the hull, both my boats leak a little bit since I removed them.

I've been adding some detail to the motor on mine. Still need a set of Losi headers.

Looks good! Did you make that rideplate?

I took the Monster boat out for all of about 30 seconds, turns out the setscrew stripped in the motor coupler and it let go, letting the motor shaft free spin. Luckily the wind blew it back to shore, otherwise I was going wading. Put a new coupler on last night, lotctite this time!

Yea I made it myself. I cheated a little, it's thick lexan. Much easier to work with than aluminum.
I still havent ordered a motor... Can't make up my mind. Too many choices.

Go for a Feigao 2040SL 4400kV or something right around there, that's what I have in both of mine and the video kind of shows the speed and acceleration.

Second motor down, long series. Looks like they only have the 3867kV option as the highest, which should work pretty good too.

Or this one:

Default Ty Campbell Jet Boat

Ty,
I was wondering if you would be willing to e-mail me an itemized list of components and were to get them for a complete build on one of these amazing jet boats you were running in the creek in McCall, ID. I am from Spokane, WA. and play on upper Twin lakes, ID. I am new to the sport and currently have a formula fastech deep Vee and am getting the new pro boat mystic 29 catamaran when released in July but would love to build a jet while waiting.

Thank in advance Kevin

PS if you can't then any member who reads this and is willing to help me out I appreciate it.

rmbelair, don't know if you got the list of parts you needed, but here is an entire thread dedicated to these little boats. Lots of good information here.

I got a little more done to my boat, and some extra stuff done that wasn't the boat...LOL!

Wrecked my tow vehicle at the last USGT race, time for a new body.

That trailer is awesome!

I've been using my jetboats primarily for rescue boats lately, been running the P1 and just finished up the Super Hawaii yesterday! The creek by my house is a slow trickle now, not much fun anymore. Have to go find a new one.
