Just got in the new Tekin Hotwire 3.0 with Bluetooth,
As an Apple device user, it's been a long but well worth while wait for the convenience of what many an Android user has already come to know. The Apple app is pretty straight forward and from the single quick test/bind I did to setup the Hotwire 3.0 to my phone, seems real close to the android app I've used a few times when needed. Going through a quick ESC setup check and making a few small quick adjustments via the new app, it's every bit as easy to navigate and use function wise as what I've already seen. So if racers are already familiar with the Android app, I don't think there'll be much difference with the Apple app for them. If not having already used the Android app, it's a pretty straight forward deal and very simple and easy to use and bind to Apple devices. Once done, open the app up and check your ESC settings and play around with the app a little to get better used to the menus in the app.
The Bluetooth feature is an added bonus for sure and does help make it easier to not have to plug in a lot of stuff to use the Hotwire3. Bigger bonus for any that may wish to leave the Hotwire3 mounted in car, do have the option to do so if they wish and in some cases could be a fun thing to do if out say testing a bunch of different settings in the ESC and want a more real time feed back. Overall very happy to see the efforts of all at Tekin pay off and now just about anyone that uses Tekin Products and has a smart phone can enjoy the convenience of quickly and easily making ESC setting adjustments when ever and in some cases where ever they may want or need to.

What phone are you using with what ESC? If you've got it bound it should be fine. But if it was the first time you must force close the app and go back into it as instructed. It's a pop up and easy to miss if you read it too quick

That's not to say however it won't happen in the future.

Ok I have a few ?'s and want to make sure you and I are on the same page 100%.
Your Rx8 Gen2 ESC is on v258 correct?
Before trying to connect to anything, go into your phone app, swipe right and go into "bind" and click on "edit devices" and tell me how many devices are listed at the bottom?
