Anyone know the difference between the R314SB and R334SB receivers?
I have both, and don't know which is the better one to use with the 7PX? Thanks, |
I think the 334 is the super response version, std with he 7PX.
The 314 is the std with the 4PX. Can't really believe many could tell the difference. |

Haven't seen and info on why lipo can't be used. I see some use it and some use life packs. Any reason why I shouldn't use lipo??

I’m curious if you can save multiple models to one receiver? I.e. models 1 & 2 both share the same receiver but have different settings. Thanks for any input.

Put the receiver into your second model; Connect your electronics; Start a new model on the radio; Configure to taste. Now you’ll have two models in the radio. Put the receiver in which have a car you want, and then on the radio select the appropriate model. |
Sbus servo programming
Has any played around with the SBus servo programming with the 7px? Particularly SR mode. I don’t know what some of the settings do but the servos are a heap noisier when in SR mode. The higher the frequency (sr mode type 2 & 3)the noisier they get.
Is SR mode worth using? Can anyone provide some insight as to what all the setting do? I.e. stretcher, boost, dead band, damper, smoother, soft start, stop mode, speed etc. I am running the Futaba S9373SV servos so they are compatible. Thanks |

Ok Gang,
I'm possibly moving on from my like new Ko Propo euros 10 D.D.S. TX/RX , reason being, I'm told, its outdated? it has the FHSS Module I'm telling you feature's I have on current TX, as would help with honest opinions,& reasons to upgrade I'm having a HARD time Justifying to myself, to spend $500 plus, I mean, it seems to be as fast as I need? honesty, I haven't tried any of these next Gen TX'S. Futaba 7PX Assuming this is there latest and greatest offering? Is it at end of life line? Next up, I saw a SWEET Futaba 4PX/R, I THINK? It was a limited edition, Chrome, $699!! Now is that radio similar to the 7PX? Lastly I heard BEST TX is the Sanwa R12 S..I also just read a in-depth honest review how its front heavy? Not good for long races, thats a Minus to me. I Am here for Several reasons, <2> of my choices , out of 3 are Futaba, and I'm a long time Futabe fan. To top of the line race TX's, that over the years, were Top Shelf for me!! When I bought the KO Propo, I liked at the time,And STILL DO, ALOT! Strengths= SPEED/WEIGHT/BALANCE/AND THE FUNCTIONS WERE PLENTY ON THE KO I WOULD LIKE A LARGER DISPLAY THO,which seems to be the norm. I suppose a way to see nitro motor temp wouldn't hurt, as long as no more adding /cables, sensors/WEIGHT. To many programming parameters for me, wont do anything except, mess things up, All adjustments in there DDS is all I need, the Reaction speed was adjustable, as also for servo to re center. its a neat feature. I'm ready to pull trigger on new TX\IF Makes sense to?My KO has Limited Drop down Wheel, W/purple aluminum hardware, it takes a 3c lipo, I mean charge 3-4 times month, So I'm current with Ergonomics I believe? However I cannot update from PC, which I see is a feature on most TX's, I assume they do it, often? So this Futaba 7 remote, Chrome 4Pv/X? Is the Futabe 7 a upgrade from that 4? vs Sanwa S version, Pros Cons, Thanks appreciate, it.... |

That's a poor reason to upgrade. If your current radio works for you, stick with it.
hearing its not as good, new ones the feel is more "connected" to tx, wich im sure , its not a NEW TX, mine was great in it's Hayday |
Hi guys , looking at changing brands . Anyone knows the number of the wireless receivers that work with the 7PX ?
