Default Sensor wire question?

Getting ready to link/calibrate my HW XR8 ESC up, my sensor is a bit short. Can I set the system up and run it then add the sensor wire later, or should I just wait until I get the longer wire? Sorry if this sounds dumb....but BL is new to me, came from Nitro. Thanks

If the ESC can run sensorless then yes, it is no problem.

Thanks man.....It can run both. I just didn't know when calibrating it whether I'd have to re-cal it for the sensor wire or just plug it in. Thanks.

Recalibration will not be required..

Sensored driving only changes the way current is supplied to the poles of the motor at low rpm's..
