I got mine in October, and it had 2.0.2, which is still the latest (and has been for a while), not counting the Beta recently released. I’m sure that once that build becomes official, they will start updating any units still in their possession. That being said, if you happen to buy one directly from Horizon not long after it’s official, I wouldn’t be surprised if the security sticker on the box was “double-sealed”.

Sorry, haven't been on rc tech much lately, as you can image lots of stuff going on behind the scenes and in today's world...

Apologies if answering these backwards...

toepush - the update will give the 6R access to Smart Telemetry data and also adds the newest 4 Spektrum receivers to the menu.
TurnNBurn & Nemesis - 2.02 is shipping on all the radios... no the factor seal will not be broken just to do the update. End user can do it easier through PlayStore after they set up the radio.
Nemesis - some other answers to questions. The 6R has a stronger RF deck than the 2e, so it will give better range, just as well as being all together more user friendly to work with. I use a class 4 32GB card with my 6R. I do not believe the class 10 SD cards work well with the older android, but I don't have one to verify. Run Time with the battery. That is just a variable question, there are a lot of factors that can play into use, your environment, do you keep the screen on, etc. So there is not one simple answer, everyone's will be slightly different. Its not as long as some, but has the potential to do a lot more because of it.

I just picked up one of these used, and I think the previous user had factory reset android to ensure he cleared everything. I had to install raceware manually. I tried to run it and....



I would contact Horizon, but in order to do that, you have to Register it, and you need the serial number, which you can only look up inside Raceware....

Also, are you sure you have to register it to contact Horizon? They have a support email address you can probably explain the situation and see what they recommend.

Brand new dx6r with annoying marks on the screen

Hard to say from the pictures, but that looks like damage to the pixels on the screen itself. Since it’s brand new, I would hit up the place you purchased it from or Horizon/Spektrum Support directly. That certainly looks like it qualifies as a “defect”, especially if the screen itself isn’t scratched from whatever caused the pixel damage.

Hard to say. If you are looking at multiple screens - home screen, setting, raceware, etc and see if the pixels are out in the same places.
