Default Future radio features

What do you guys think useful radio features down the road will be? I hope to see the radio have WiFi hookup to the livetime race software that displays your race info in real time and then saves your results with laptimes and averages. Maybe an alarm that goes off when the race before yours is on track.

In the telemetry I like to have a GPS based lapcounter.

Receivers with GPS to show on the remote display the KMH's or MPH.

That's what's needed for the RC industry. We got the tools, so why not?
Being hobbygrade it should be standart already in these days of 2015!

Not really a radio thing..

But why has no one ever designed something to flip a car back onto it wheels after it been upsize down...

Maybe something like a telescopic pole ran by a servo.

I would like to see dynamic EPA or dynamic dual-rate where one can set different steering end points in 2-3 predetermined throttle points. Another way would be to change steering speeds based on predetermined throttle points.

Something like this

But for rc cars, gps lap times with video would be cool.

That sounds like the race modes on my m12-s. I have a several curves set, EPAs, etc and when I flick my throttle hand thumb up the transmitter switches the settings. It's useful for starting on a wet track that drys out over the race.

I like to see a steering wheel that gives feed back for how the car's wheels are gripping while turning. like a real car with no power steering

I believe the Hitec Lynx 4s has this feature.

Might be able to do that or at least something close using mixing with some radios. Don't the 4PK models have fairly extensive mixing capabilities? Use the aux channel for the steering servo and programmable steering & throttle mixes to get the desired results? Just a thought, perhaps worth trying.

Yeah, I've done something similar to that on my crawler with 4 wheel steering.. but it's more like a reverse program of a slaved brake setting on a nitro car with the steering being the master, kind of.

I want the throttle position to dictate the steering end points, or the turn/return speeds. I should look into the aux channel, thanks.
