bloody mistake ,very easy to do ,and bingo chargers are toast.
Okay now the truth comes out. You're blaming the charger because you blew it up and it doesn't work anymore. Nice.

I stand by my words, Hyperion chargers are one of the best on the market.

Case closed, user error.

Im'e not blaming anything or anybody or anyone ,exerpt you SUNA,for continuing to say that ime complaining .ime not .you are .please stop.
But since you wont stop ,here are some FACTS about hyperion australia!
I have just had an telephone conversation with the sole Australian distributor for Hyperion products.Dave,of 'Dave's toys for big boy's'
1. hyperion chargers can't be serviced in Australia as they are considered a throw away item once out of waranty.(Dave's words not mine).
2. All Hyperion chargers sold in Australia must have a compliance sticker (A tik)to be legal in Aus.and Hyperion Aus ie,Dave's,will not honor waranty on any products without it.
3.any faulty products that cause damage in AUS without the tik are not covered by insurance.ie ,they are ilegaly imported and sold in australia!
4.We (my friend and I)purchased our chargers localy ,from a hobby shop, but he must have bought them in illegally ,ie no tik ! BUT and its a big BUT,he didnt charge a mark up ,ie he sold at cost ,because at the time he was the president of our RC race club, and was helping us out with the expense of traveling to race all over the place ,you dig!
5.Hiperion are made in China ,not US,and they are a relatively cheap charger ,the components are normal electronic components circuit boards fets diodes etc are not special quallity!
However ,by the time they are shipped all the way around the world and back, through many hands they can get a bit pricey !!
At the moment the HP--EOS 0720i SDuo3 is@$450.00Au plus delivery from Melbourne @$30.
Hey youre right ! theyr not cheap any more.

thank you,any advise wellcome here,i cant afford another $900.au to replace these!
Just an update!

Ok so ive had a good look around and reached these conclusions.
The 720 works well unballanced ,with any cell count and C ., I could find no others that will charge unballanced more than 2 s.
there are many ballancers that will do the job ,but none with high ma <300.
some will send a message to your phone etc ,but not cheap ,,
I've opted for a cellpro GT 500.. it ballances at 600mh per cell ,while charging .
I may still use the 720 to fast charge good packs to @ 90% ,then finnish off and ball with GT.
i've got one of the hyperioins apart atm and try to fix ,,bbut donttt look good ,big blob of solder on one of ball diodes, right next to QC sticker lol, I suspect a dry joint ,would explain intermitent fault .

My Hyperion HP-EOS720INET3-ADEU 720i AC/DC 20A Charger/Balancer was used 10 times and died. Hyperion told me the electronics failed from dust and contaminates and prolonged use. Also told it should be kept in a sealed box while in storage Never again

Hello,

This happens due to long term wear of board due to dust and other particles. This happens to all kinds of electronic devices that have open designs for heat dispensation.

We suggest to store the charger in a sealed box when not in use and avoid long term storage in heat or open sunlight environment."
IMO this is the poorest response from a manufacture to justify their product failing
