Default Please help

yesterday i had a pretty big crash, i hit a curb and it made my ESC come un-taped from the chassi and one of the ESC cords came un-plugged from my motor. i plugged everything back in and re taped the ESC down. today i go for a run and when i hit the throttle my car chugs and makes a screeching sound. i picked up my car and held full throttle and it cuts in and out. also my motor gets super hot after 5 secs of holding full throttle. please help me with this thanks.

Everything is stock. [ this is my 1st RC car]

Car: RC10T4.2

Motor: Powerful Reedy 3300kV brushless motor

ESC: XP SC500-BL Brushless

i can make a video if you guys need it. any help appreciated thanks

If there is smoke with the motor it is possible that it is shorted. The esc could be damaged too, and is sending a skewed signal to the motor, causing it to run badly. Check gear mesh too.

Cheap rtr electronics usually don't last very long, and it is possible that it has just died, especially with the large crash.

it still works. goes as fast as it did since the day i got it, its just now it makes a weird noise and sometimes cuts in and out. does that mean it still could be shorted?

First of don't ever run full throttle in the air. Does this car have a slipper and ball diff. Could be possible the slipper is lose or the ball diff is lose.
Second do You know what wire came off. As in a battery wire or senor wire.
Did you try to recalibrate the esc.
These are some thing i would check out.

It has a slipper, but gear diff. Those should be fine. It isn't sensored either.

Try uploading a video. Diagnosing electronics issues concerning the motor are hard to do without visuals.

The gear mesh sounds really right. Try backing it off and trying again.
