My controller only works when almost roughing the cars antenna.

Any ideas how to repair.

check receiver antenna is it broke.also what radio and rx is this ? if broken repair or replace rx.

I had a small crack in my antenna near the open where it comes out of my airtronics receiver. I called Airtronics and talked to the tech support guy and He told me could send it back in out I could replace my antenna with a new wire that I had on my work bench. He also told me that the antenna had to 190mm long. I cut a piece of 24 gauge telephone wire that I had and unsoldered the old one and remove the potting on the pcb board. I instert the wire soldered it up and put a dab on shoe goo on it and works like gold. michael
