Yes without doubt. The benchmark has now been set. The Futaba 4px is the iPhone 3g of transmitters. The real question is will sanwa trump Futaba with a touch screen.

What would be really cool was if transmitters were connected via Bluetooth or wifi to the timing computers and each lap time was displayed on your readout stored for post race review... :tire:

I don't think they are going to have a touch screen in the next sanwa radio because it would make the radio heavier without any need for it and I'm still undecided if I going to buy the futaba 4px or wait until the next sanwa/airtronics radio to come out

Not worth waiting any longer on the 4PX in USA Futaba! You told pre-order paying customers "late-Aug", now it's mid-Oct according to your distributor. Onto Spektrum...

The word is that they are all sitting in a warehouse, ready to ship, but the FAA is giving them the run around. If they want to be pricks, it could be delayed all the way till the holiday season. :(

That's interesting! Where did you heard that from? And wonder why TH / Hobbico just doesn't tell waiting customers the story? I'd rather be mad at the government than Futaba. :flaming:

Does anyone now when they might land in Australia?

volracer 09-18-2014 06:11 AM

Xmas?

I sold my 4PK last weekend. Xmas? Remember the federal budget expires 9/30. If not by then, they will sit in the warehouse until 2015!

For those that got the asian market 4PX already, does anyone have a picture of the life battery or know the dimensions?

I heard the US version will not come with a life battery.
