it does use mechanical stops, but the only method of adjustment comes form swapping out the cam to the optional one provided with the radio. to does not allow "fine tuning" for the steering wheel stops.

New r204gf-e receiver is losing connectivity with steering/throttle at about 30 yards on an outdoor track. My other 2 do not do this. Only thing different I have a is a different low pro/high voltage xpert shorty servo. Could this be it? I noticed some fail safe language about updating was on the transmitter screen when binding but think that may be normal. Anyone else have this range issue? It's only this new 1 of 3 receivers.

thx all in advance

So just making sure.. this radio comes with the angle adjustment for the wheel right?

wkderf 12-13-2016 10:52 AM

if you are referring to the wedge to mount the wheel at an angle to the radio, then no, that part is sold separately.

That is what im referring to.. ok thanks.. seems silly to not include a $6 plastic piece with a $550 radio lol but oh well

Hey guys, few questions here for ya. Ive read alot of posts in this thread about the steering and throttle pots needing cleaning after some time, but my question is "has futaba done anything to adress the issue?". I just purchased this radio on 12/26/16 and have yet to recieve it yet, but i was curious if futaba updated the pots at all. Thank you

Don't worry about a problem that you don't have.. I ran 2 got these radios for 2 seasons without a issue. Be smart about dust ect!!

You will need to change the battery type. Look on page 148 of the manual.

Drop down wheel

Hello I have a friend that just got a 4px and after installing drop down the steering functions are not working.
All cables are plugged in and pins look good. Has anyone seen this. ?

Was it working before installing the drop down. If so. Check for pinched wires. Also. Make sure all connections are plugged in the right way.
