Most of the Futaba surface Rx are the size no matter if it's FHSS or FASST and number of channels.

I have read through the instructions getting the radio all sorted out, but I am confused by a couple of things.

I can set a failsafe for the receiver voltage? I have a 2 cell lipo on my SCT to I just set the failsafe at a safe 7.0 volts and thats it?

What about the low battery alert for the transmitter itself. Does it just know what the voltage should be at? I have switched the transmitter to a Life battery. It's defaulted to 5.8v but I can't change it. I am not familiar with Life batteries. What's the lowest a cell can go? As I said earlier, I have the 2 cell lipo in my SCT set at 7.0 volts (3.5 per cell)

I have owned every high end Futaba radio since the 3PB, which I still have and it still works ..... I still also have a 3PJS, 3PKS, 4PKS, and now the 4PX. The other radios were all great, but the 4PX really is amazing.... easily the best money I've spent on this hobby in a long time. It's insane what this radio can do.

I would call up Futaba directly.
I was able to order a spare screen for mine since it gets scratched if you look at it. Lol
The order will show up on a tower hobbies account as hobby services repairs...

Hmmm... Futaba would not sell me a replacement antenna for my 4PKS (FCC restrictions)even thou Tower Hobbies sells them directly. Futaba tech support told me I would have to send the radio in and have them screw on the new antenna...lol

Pass you soon...

Default Out of range

Installed a wireless 2104gf-e. It's my 3rd one. For some reason it's the only one that is out of range on a large outdoor track (about 100 feet away). I have several others that worked on the same track. Anyone have experience with this?

Does this radio have adjustable mechanical stops for the steering wheel?
