Sure. What device are you using and on what OS? Also when you open you app and hit "About" what version do you have?

It should be V11.180023.3. Build should be a06022016ck.

Samsung galaxy S7 with os 7.0 kwhen I open app and hit about it says version 10.19.0 I have tried clearing cache and it still does not work.

It appears that the app was updated this morning and I now have the newest version.

Nice, the app update was pushed out last week but perhaps your PlayStore was caching the version for some reason.

Glad it's sorted out now.

Randy,
Data logs are not showing 100% throttle. I've re-calibrated the end points on the radio, re-calibrated the RSX and it still shows 96%

Am i missing something?

No you're not missing anything. The data log isn't about percentages actually. There's a "range" we accept throttle signals. As long as you're seeing the "flats" of your WOT or wide open throttle you're good to go. Some radios have a higher signal than others.

To verify your ESC is indeed seeing WOT, power it up, hit full throttle on your car and make sure all 7 LED's light up and flash. IF they do, you're good to go.

Cool, thanks Randy. Looks like i'm good. Time to race :-)

Is there a way to fetch Hotwire data logs from Android (not rooted) phone to PC?

Randy_Pike 06-27-2017 02:46 PM

You don't have to root your device to use our app, ever. You can't however at this time download and save a data log to your phone, then passed to your PC.

For app use sure I know - my concern is app data access. I guess easiest way would be to provide export to SD card - this way it would be accessible over MTP to PC. Or to save logs in some accessible internal memory folder... Otherwise they are more or less useless for me on small screen...

This is something that is under continuous development.

I will second his request to export the logs to a CSV on the internal or external SD card. Bonus points if you could save it to dropbox, drive, or other cloud storage solution. I have been hoping for this feature since the hotwire app was released for Android.

How do you update HotWire from v255 to v258 using the Android App?
