Does anyone else have issues with the different platforms having different settings displayed? I have a RS Pro 1s and depending on whether its plugged into a PC or the hotwire app, it displays different settings.

Example - plugged into the PC it says the Torque level is at 2 but the app will say its at 4 - and just to make it totally confusing the QuickTune on the ESC says its on 1.

This also happens to other settings such as BEC voltage.

And yes, I am doing obvious things like making sure I am definitely loading the current settings from the ESC

Hi,

I run a Tekin servo (and speedo [RSX]) in 2wd mod. (Customer, not supported etc.)

With the servo, I use a laptop / desktop at home to set-up the servo, centre point end points etc.
Then track-side use the settings / options on the radio to tune the steering for the current track conditions.

I have used my home PC to set the center, as you said. But some of the stuff like aggression and speed and start torque, etc. are such a feel thing that I don't know that I would really notice the difference from week to week, because these are often very subtle changes. At the track, you can quickly make a change and go back out and run and see if you like the changes.

I use a Sanwa M17 for my radio. In my on-road cars, I use the PGS series servos that are programable. You can actually change the settings from the transmitter. There is video on how to setup race modes on your transmitter and have the race modes change the settings of the servo. So, I can run a few laps, pull to the side, press a button and get a different feel. It is subtle, but a great feature. I know that with the Tekin, I wouldn't be able to set it from the transmitter, but it would nice to be able to change at the track so you can do back to back comparisons of the settings to see what feels right for the track conditions, layout, etc... It's picky, I know, but when you pay for a feature (and the related gear for that feature) it sucks when you really can't use it how you intended to.

I really like the servo so far. It's just this has left a bad taste in my mouth for the company.
