Does anyone else have problems with displaying stored data logs on your new app?
I have an LG g2 and a RX8 gen2 and with the new version of the app I can configure, download and delete the datalogs (and of course other RX8 setings), but the shown graphs are always empty. When I connect the same RX8 to a PC the datalogs (graph data) are visible. Are there any special requirements for the datalogs to be displayed? |
I've tried to look at logs with lenght of 30 seconds to 16 minutes (sample rate 2 samples/sec).
The G2 screen is 5.2 inches (1920x1080). |
Its great that they added the data log feature to the android app but i wish you could play the log. You can only scroll thre the log and its really agervating because each graph scrolls verticaly and then all the graphs scrol horizontally. The problem is somtimes when your trying to zoom in or scroll you can also scoll verticaly on some graphs and you have to swipe ot up or down to get back to the area that your log info is at. It needs a pause play and track the data like pc has.

Can this phone configured to run Hot Wire 2.0? The website says no need for OTG cable, so I ordered an non OTG cable, it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. I can not register for the forums on Tekin site.

Did you try it with the lipo powering the esc?
|
I'm not sure about the Hotwire 2.0 but I did need the USB/OTG with my S3 and Hotwire 1.0.
Have you tried using the OTG cable? |
Hotwire 2 has otg built in so the otg cable is not needed like it is with HW1.
If the phone is otg compatible and not working it probably just needs the cars battery to power the esc. I am not sure any phone puts out the power needed, that's probably only tablets... and certainly notebooks & laptops will power the esc. |

All it does is charge my phone. The first green light on Hot Wire flashes now but that is the only difference. Good thing I didn't buy this phone for this. I got it for this, it was just given to me. So only loss is the 10 dollars for the adapter. Oh well, I will just wait til they get the bugs worked out. When I look in the Tekin forums it looks like it is either hook and go or its a no go. This is my first smartphone, so I am less than savvy on it. It is probably me.

Thanks Randy. I called Tekin this morning, they told me it was OTG. So any ideas on a cable? The cable I bought on amazon was the only one configured with males on both ends.

The cable I use on my S4: http://www.amazon.com/Lindy-0-5m-USB.../dp/B00DCZWIY6 |
I went to a local computer shop that repairs computers and bought a USB/OTG cable for $6.
