anyone got comparison of the feel of the Tekin ESCs as far as low to mid end punch in spec 17.5 buggy class in comparison to some other common brands?

It's hard to compare at times mostly because our software updates are such a huge factor. The latest 272 software simply needs to be tried or experienced first hand to understand what you're missing and or leaving on the track.

He's referring to the RS Pro BE or "Black Edition."

D2 is the acronym Tekin uses for their Duel Drive Mode Technology. It means the speedo can be run in sensored only or hybrid (sensored for low end, sensorless for higher RPMs) modes.

Tekin has never had a D1 option.

There's only one version of the RSX. Fievel did give you proper info on what D2 is.

Yes sir. Have rsx's in my TC and RS Black Editions in my pam cars. For spec classes the new 272 software and ultra low ir of the rs can't be touched by others. so smooth

How is the failure rate in the rsx vs gen3? I ask because is have seen a lot of dead gen3 speed controls. I ran the BE and it was ok. But I got back and forth between mod and 13.5 wheeler. I sold the be because it was too big and got hot.

Just put an RSX in my 2wd sct, and it is fast, but also smooth. Tried a Sanwa Vortex and was so disappointed, between soldering and programming, what a mess. My RSX is having zero issues, yeah. I also run one in my B64D and it is so smooth. Tried a V.1, and meh, pulled it. I will be sticking with the RS/RSX in my 10th scale from now on.

The RS Pro BE was too big? How so?
