A buddy of mine is letting me try his speed passion 7.5R motor, before I hook it up to my RSX, I wanted to know if it would work okay with it? Also, anyone know when the new update to fix the clicking noise will be out? Thanks

Was just wondering the same thing. I'm not convinced the noise isn't causing any problems. In my B5M the clicking is amplified through the drive train. When on the stand its much louder and i can see the wheels stutter/jump/hesitate (however you want to describe it) in unison with the noise coming from the motor. That's how i noticed it, breaking in a new diff on the bench. It was so bad i thought i may have built the diff incorrectly.

Will Tekin come out with the Apple interface please. ???:flaming:

Any word on the update for the clicking noise??

No clicking noise here yet. I am running a 7.5 Tekin motor. Yea, I could use an Apple interface as well. Where do I find that list of cheap I pads that can do this as well that Tekin put out?

My RSX is causing my motors to make the clicking popping sound (tried four different motors) and others are having the same issue( there is a video in this thread). My car which is a Aero K1 being all carbon fiber will actually amplify the noise and it is quiet prominent when driving. Tekin has said they are aware of the issue and they were almost done with the update...that was a few weeks ago, so I would just like to know when it will be released as this noise is kind of getting annoying.

The team is testing software right now that cures the noise and has a few other improvements. The sound doesn't hurt anything in the system, nor the motor.

I have the rsx Hotwire and my computer won't connect to it. I heard there's a cheap tablet I can purchase to use in the field. What is it exactly I need to connect and adjust my stuff. Thx in advance.

So I've finally decided to add an RSX to my fleet of gen1 RS and RS Pro escs. I read earlier that my gen1 Hotwire will work with the RSX, but is there anything that the gen1 Hotwire can't do that the gen2 can?

As far as i know of you dont get the data logging and you have to hook the hotwire up from the wire that plugs in to your recv. The gen2 has a adapter that plugs into the fan port. There may be more stuff it does that im not aware of.

This isn't true. You do get the data logging on a gen1 hotwire if you have Gen2 speedo's. I'm currently using one and it works fine on my RSX and Gen2 (white) speedo
