have had this esc for three weeks, lacks the punch my castle had. So I figure hook up the ole hot wire, and tweak her a bit. Hell no problem.
Well yes there is a problem, I OWN A DELL. After finally getting a chance to call the guys at tekin, that's the answer I get. I hope they can resolve this issue I will get rid of the rx8 before I get rid of the computer. I'm sure its a good esc, but if I can't reset things to my liking to at least match what my castle did, then it has no point. Castle seems to have no problem working on a Dell?

Your Hotwire will work with a Dell, put the computer into Safe Mode and it should be good to go.

mine is a newer machine only 6 months old, same issue on a newer gateway as well. I am very computer savy. there is nothing wrong with my system. More disappointed with the lack of support. Get more of a ohwell better luck next time. They could have at least posted this as a known problem on their site. Racing is something me and my son have done for a few years. I use it a a therapy to help treat my autistic son. Safe mode at the track turns off every thing else he uses. Will be going back to Castle.

The Hotwire works on Pc's running XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win8(most versions).
So what OS are you using? Hit us up at [email protected] or our livechat and I'm confident we can sort out the issue.
The most common issue on a "new" Pc is the .net framework doesn't have the 3.5 version installed which is required. The 3.5 can be download from Microsofts website.

And how long before we get to use Door #2, I am ready to use my android tablet, I got my OTG host adapter off Amazon just the other day hoping for good news soon.

Did not know .NET was needed, but then again did not notice as it ends up on most systems given some time anyway as something will require it along the way. Does the installer look for prerequisites? A link to the .NET page on your website would be helpful, or if there is a link already making it more prominent?

Clearly I haven't taken advantage of the service? I was told by Jeremy that there was no fix. Nothing is noted about this problem. What more could I ask? I asked Is there a way I can get it to function as it should. Clearly this problem is mine, Clearly the service either could not or didn't have the resource to assist with their product. I would even have accepted we are currently working to repair the software issue, keep an eye on the site when the updates are ready.
