Definitely what Tekin needed for the RX8 lineup. It needed a revamp not only on durability but on looks and functionality. I think the new white case looks awesome and the high amp BEC is a great feature for those(like me) that like the HV servos.

Great job Tekin! A+

Now to find one in stock soon and scoop it up to try out!!!

Also, do you think im missing out on a lot if i just go with the gen 1 2250kv combo for my truggy or will this new ESC make that much of a difference?

Thanks!
Looks like you're good to go with your servo based on others experiences. lol

Unless you get a bargain on the combo, I'd get the new esc. Software updates for older models will be few and far between at this point as time/recources are poured into the newest hardware.

I heard a guy from hitec saying you could run the RX8 underwater with no issue too

just kidding

I'm very curious about the weight of T8 replacement motors

sounds like the answer is no. Can you return it to where you bought it?

Sell it quick on eBay before everyone finds out about the RX-8 Gen2. They seem to be going for 250+ so you come out ahead even accounting for eBay fees.

+1 time to sell your RX8 if you plan to upgrade

I will keep mine till the end, for once I got a reliable RX8 I don't want to change it and I have an external BEC anyway

Is the upgraded BEC switching or linear? I run an external switching now, but for my other buggy i don't want to stress out the BEC. Linear seem to not last long in 1/8th.

Got a question about the BEC.

Description says "6.0/7.4V"

Does that mean you have a choice of either exactly 6.0V or exactly 7.4V or is it adjustable to any voltage you choose between 6.0V and 7.4V?
