my Tekno SCT410 seems faster/quicker and smoother with the Gen2 RX8.

By next week all the major sites(Dealers and Distributors) should have Combo's on hand and more Esc Only units..

so whats the deal with tower hobbies did any one get their card charged yet it really sucks that everyone is getting theirs and im still waiting last time i order from them

Tower did this with both of the things I pre-ordered in the last year. On one occasion they even screwed up their counting of items and then didn't send me anything, even though people who ordered after me had gotten theirs, and told me it would be another month and a half.

Needless to say, I no longer do business with Tower as a result.

Back on topic, I'm glad to see the combo stock hitting too.

I really don't think that how soon the order was placed is the issue here. I had mine ordered on May7th (not sure when they became available for pre-order but I know it wasn't too far before that) and I called them yesterday and couldn't even get an answer when they would have any in stock other than "late June" which the guy just read on the product description. I think what he's upset about, and I'm upset about it myself, is the fact that regardless of how soon you pre-ordered it there are numerous other shops and online sites that have already got these in stock and shipped them to their customers..... Tower has not I agree, probably the last time I order something like this from Tower.

Any plans to offer combos with the new T8i motors?

thanks mxnickj thats was my point and as for waflet i ordered the first day they became available for pre order so how much sooner would be good for me to have order it! maybe you should think before you speak. And on top of that tekin even said on here that they have them so why the hell are they not sending them out.

Send some more units to stormer so I can get mine while you are shipping tekin...

I`m sure thats next mean time my LHS have to fill the pre orders first , I just spoke with my LHS and thats what they told me , but possible next week my get one anyways , sometimes some of the pre orders back out cause they don`t want to wait so they go with another brand , I say let them i can wait a couple more weeks

That's my biggest question also If they know that they have a shipment incoming, why when I called them did I only get told end of the month? I'm not asking for miracles here but come on tower..... Can you at least acknowledge that you have them on their way to you?

There are no current plans to combo up the T8i with the Rx8 Gen2. Perhaps something else down the road....
