So here is the situation:
Tekno ET48
RX8 G2 with T8g2 2050 @ 13.95/1
Reedy 4600mah 4 cell, 55C rated
Driving about on the street because track are too muddy.
I see voltage on WOT drop to 14.3 volt, is this too much or good?
this happens from very early in the run.
Don't want to blow up my system due to too small batteries.

At nearly 8 lbs your buggy is also on the heavier side. Ideally you shouldn't be that heavy on 6s. What size is your 6s pack?

was running short on batteries so only had a 3000mah (518grams) and a 3800 (619grams) servo is about 70 grams and receiver 8grams, i have no idea what the actual car with body weighs, it was a guess, maybe someone might know?

Air compressor with a hi-pressure nozzle to get all the loose stuff off, then I use Kalgard degreaser, various picks, toothbrush and rags to get everything else, then air again. Sometimes Simple Green, then once it's all dried off and no dirt left I hit it Kalgard Prep n Shine silicone spray. Make sure not to spray the ESC a whole lot if you can help it.

Feedback on the Hotwire for android:
I got it up and running on a cheap tablet last night I purchased to play with (Lenovo) running 4.12 since my S4 is way too new for it to work. The software appears to work well, but with a few minor issues (or feature?
). I do not see anywhere that the software is able to read the settings from the ESC after it attaches. It immediately found my gen2 and allowed me to apply settings that I selected via the menus, but that overwrote what was already on the unit. It also forced an initial reset of the ESC/TX/RX setup. Is this normal? Maybe I missed it, but will we also be able to update the firmware via the tool and when might that be available? In short, some possible bugs, but it appears to work very well with much less pain than the Windows version.

When I plug mine in it reads the esc's settings that are already in it. Can't remember the first plug in but i know I didnt have to calibrate.
Maybe that was just the initial plug in and after that it will read correctly?

What you don't want to see is heavy "hashing" on the voltage line that isn't directly related to the throttle input. In other words you want to see slow "waves" not huge vertical spikes, etc.
55c if that rating is "true" should be more than fine. A lot of batteries are over rated right now so be careful.
If you see your battery voltage falling very fast in say 6 minutes...falls off sharply you're packs are weak.
2050 in a truggy even one as light as the Tekno is walking a fine line. You'd be better served by a Tr8 Truggy motor, trust me.

Good question, I know I'm at least one revision behind (the most recent just announced). Is there one that is either required or recommended at minimum? Perhaps it would be a good idea to include that as a popup or notice when a connection is established?
If the software is detecting properly, V238. I will have to confirm/upgrade via laptop tonight when I get home.

Generally the app reads old versions but try updating to the latest one: www.teamtekin.com/hotwire.html
