Got 2 red can since 3 months, 8.5T in a 22 and 7.5T in a 22T
Geared for the track (1/8th outdoor, low to medium grip)
Stock endbell timing (best efficiency), no ESC timing
60°C in summer (50°C track temp), super smooth low end, a blast on wot, as fast as any other brand motor.
Dust, sand, recently mud, no problem so far.
Bargain motors!

Picked up the 80amp turbo esc and red can 17.5 motor, really suprised on how smooth the system is and how easy it is to set up with the box...just wished it came with directions on how to calibrate it,other then that worth the money

People still using these at all? Anyone use them in a 4wd SCTE on 2S? If so which setup did you use?

I bought one of these motors for my T4.1 the 10.5 Red can . And for the price man its insane looking at the quality on them . I bought my from the Hobbyking USA warehouse

Good power especially bottom end power to mid .

The only thing i dont like is there not completly sealed but i only run on carpet/clay. And they do make a weird winding noise on the track but it seems to run fine .

I prefer the 2 pole motors... just my preference.

So I have been racing the red can 13.5 now for about 4 months in my 2wd Buggy. The motor runs super smooth and very cool in blinky mode. I have no issues keeping up with the high dollar motors. Definitely one of the best "budget" motors out there.

Kcooper: Does your motor when your running it on the track make a noisy wine i know my does on my T4.1 but seems to run fine very smooth.

I get a little whine when I brake, thought it was the diff barking but still does it after a rebuild. Small noise I can live with, best 8.5t I've ran... And for the $$!

No mine runs quiet, but like Nordfink said it makes a little noise when braking, sounds just like the diff, but it is the motor.
