There's no issues with radiopost. Ive been using this radio for close to two years. haven't had any issues. Also there haven't been any issues posted other then the screen being a tad hard to view under direct sunlight.. Is a very reasonable price radio.

There has been problems with unbinding. Not saying its a bad or good radio but there is/was a issue that has been posted.

tell that to my friend who had his car go full speed (uncontrolled) into a wall bending his TLR22 chassis. Maybe YOU haven't had problems, but there's been plenty others who have.

Using your arguement, I could say there's no problems with this new FlySky radio since I haven't had any problems, when we both know that's not true.

My FS-it4 Quick Review
 

Hi Guys here is some info on my brief experience with the new flysky FS-it4 radio.
I purchased the system from myrcmart and received the radio in approx 10days. This radio was purchased for use in my VTA touring car. Here are my observations:
-Wheel needs more tension for my taste in on road carpet racing. Maybe I can replace the tension spring and bearings while I am in there. Have not seen anybody do this yet.
-The quick switches on the handle needed to be set to none as an option. Hitting these while racing caused some less than desirable results.
-The touch screen works good.
-I love the power off F1 engine scream. Maybe with future firmware hacks a small block V8 sound can be added.
-Plan on using the temp sensor tomorrow to get real time motor temps. This should be more accurate than taking the temp after the race.
-Compared to my M11 Airtronics this flysky is a featherweight. But it does feel cheaper in the hand than the M11.
-Other racers were intrigued by the radio "Whats that" until I tell them its a new flysky model they go "Oh".
-The foam on the wheel moves around while racing. This will get replaced.
-I charge the radio with my HTC charger. The output amps are under the max rating of the flysky battery.
-The orange chrome model matches my Xray T3 chassis pretty well.

More observations to come...

Has anyone connected the rpm sensor yet? If so, how does it work? They don't come with any reflective stickers like my speky did for its rpm sensor.

I tried ordering one from helipal 10 days ago, they said they had stock, gladly took my money and now are saying they had no stock and getting a refund is like pulling teeth,

It's a sign to buy an M12!

Mine came from Hobby Parts. Shipped with a FS-SPD01 Magnetic.
No magnet include with sensor.

The Instruction Manual shows how to install on page 12.
-magnet can be placed on inside of wheel rim
-sensor can be placed on other side of wheel (beyond tire)

THe manual shows it does not require a very close proximity of sensor
to magnet. Hope that's true.

Have not tried it yet. I've wondered if it can work with the magnet
in a CY magneto (rotor)?

The manual says to set reflection decal, but I don't think there are any included.

Did yours come with an FS-SPD02 Optical or maybe it was purchased separately?

That silver colored reflective tape sold in bicycle shops might work with
an optical tach. I have a hand held optical tach and the reflective material
it shipped with looked very similar to bicycle safety tape.

It came with the speed sensor, but I see no decal. Maybe I can use my old speky rpm sensor sticker.

Wow! Sounds like some quality shit!

My comments below after tried few hours:
- GT3B/C receivers are not compatible
- FS-iR4 receiver costs approx. RMB 120 which is OK.
- no price from TaoBao for sensors yet.
- SPD01 uses magnetic detection but require to purchase a separate magnet elsewhere and attach to wheel or spinning gear to detect rpm, kind of awkward. Better if it can attach and detect magnetic field change from motor like Yeah Racing sensors for MT4
- SPD02 uses optical detection, no high expectation
- the temp. and voltage sensor are OK though
- Transmitter touch quality is adequate but don't compare to Samsung/iphone
- some nice features, eg:
- can select and order up to 4 sensors to show on main screen
- you cannot turn off transmitter before turning off receiver
- has auto power off after idle for a definable period (with audible alerts)

May have more interesting findings after install on my short course truck later.

Thanks for the input, people by nature, always post negative comments before positive. It was nice just to have some information on the unit. Please give more details when you can.

The FS-iT4 has three real time displays (without connecting any telemetry
sensors or serial bus receiver) which are:
1. Signal Strength Meter - 5 bar style; 5 bars = full strength signal; super
sensitive - really works
2. Rx Battery Meter - sweeeet!
3. Error Rate display - somehow works with the Signal Strength Meter. On
page 17 it may be what the manual describes as "Receiver Sensor State Feedback"

The LiPo battery reduces weight quite a bit. The onboard charger tops off
the battery relatively quickly.

The FS-iT4 is holding solid connections at over 0.5 mile.

For once I'm glad I was one of the first to try something 'cause usually
I won't ever jump in early. So far, FlySky has exceeded my expectations.
