Hope you enjoy this pack as many racers are happy with this model and we can't keep it in stock. It has very low IR and true 6500mAh.

You will really like the prices. Nice prices! I may need to make my next order with you! GREAT packs by the way! I have ran them in the past, great customer service too! |
Picked up a 7200 70c, running a Mugen sct conversion that's a little over 7lbs and I'm getting a little bit of puffyness from my reedy 6500 65c.
Hope the slightly higher mah & discharge rate will deal with my porky sct running a 550 can. |
It's normal to experience some expansion with lipos especially when the cells are maxed out inside the case. In a big heavy car with powerful motor setup the expansion be a bit more.
What are you running your cutoff at ? |

What are you running your cutoff at ? I run the lvc high at 3.5v per cell and I hit lvc at about11 min if I drive it that long... but that's rare. Usually try to keep practice sessions down to 8 min or less. Heats @ westcoast are 5 min and mains are 6 to 7 min. No puff @ 5 min, but 7 or more seems to get a little expansion. Reedy lipo does not seem to have been affected, but the nano has lost some punch over the last month that its been in the MSC. Both about 9 months old. |
If the case just gets slightly rounded that is just normal expansion as these packs are built with 5.5mm cells and there is 4 cells for a total of 22mm and the case is 24.9mm this leaves 1.45mm for the case thickness. In high amp discharges on un assembled cell I noticed 0.2 to 0.3mm expansion per cell. This means you can get 1.2mm expansion which is enough to push out the case and make it not flat anymore.
I think in heavy cars/trucks using 3S or 4S is the way to go but I do understand some classes won't allow for anything more than 2S. Your cut off is set properly so that is not creating any damage. Never store the pack fully charged as this can damage it. |

Has to be 1/10 electronics, 2 cell and roar SCT width to race in the 4x SCT class... but it's a blast to drive and holds it's own against 1/8 buggies with 1/8 electronics during practice days indoor or outdoor. The new 4 pole 550 can tech is amazing! But yeah, I do think the rules should be updated to 3 cell max and a kv limit with the weight of the scte and everyone pushing the limits of 2 cell. 3 cell would be a cheaper build and less stressful on the electronics. |
Yes the current rules package for this type racing isn't friendly to equipment.
When you buy a high end 6500 ,7200 or other high end Lipo and it doesn't hold up well in this type racing this means no packs can handle it. I have a customer who is up to 350+ cycles in 1/8th scale with our 4S-6500. I'm sure this wouldn't be possible with the 2S-6500 in your application. Maybe someone at ROAR can make modified a real open class so if you feel like running 3 ,4 ,5 or 6S you can in the end the best driver with the best setup will win regardless of the pack he's using. |

Of course I had to jump right into said can since I had a MBX5 collecting dust on the shelf  |
Let me know how the 7200 does for you but I will not be surprised if it expands some as well. Good thing is that it's not as expensive as other packs.
What I don't understand is the race length in this class. They should cut that down some and things would be allot easier on the equipment. |
