How in the world can other places charge 180+ dollars for the same output?
There are a few things that drive up the price. One is how much profit a company wants to make. How much they pay for the packs. How they offer their packs. By this I mean if they go through distribution or not. I decided to get out of distribution as I felt it was jacking up the price and with direct sales being possible with an online site I decide to go this route. The typical distributor will not carry a line unless they make 20% on it. So if I sell to a distributor and want to make 20% and the distributor takes 20% and the shop takes 30-40% you can easily see why some items cost allot more in a shop. The way we do it now is we buy direct and sell direct and work off of 20 to 30% profit depending on the pack. This is how we can offer what I feel to be some of the best packs in the market at low prices. |

Oh good to know i dint know that yea im running in the 4x4 SC class . The batterys i run only have a inboard connections.
That is why we offer wired packs with Deans or Traxxas to offer the lowest possible resistance. Trust me if inboard packs with adapters would be the same I would only stock inboard packs and the customer would chose the adapter of his choice. It would make our inventory allot easier. |

I ran the Factory Spec 6500 mah 70c pack. Like I said before was impressed with the battery. Value is very high compared to the high priced stuff some of the other guys were running.

Ran the SMC 6500 70C today!!! Wow that was a sweet run!!!!!!

OK, Danny, thank you for the info.

The last time I ran an SMC pack was back when 3300 NiMH matched packs were the way to go. I'll be buying either the 6500mAh or 7200mAh inboard Race Formula batteries for my SCTE 2.0. I'm hoping the quality is still there like it used to be.
Do you guys think the 6500mAh will be plenty for my SCTE (Tekin pro4 4300kV is what I'm running)? |

I run a 6500 in a 4wd SCT. Seven minute quals and ten minute mains arent a problem, including a couple warm up laps.

Ran my 4S 6500 SMC packs in my e-truggy this weekend. So far so good. It was my first time running the truggy so I have no real comparison but I'm a happy customer so far. Now I just need a pack or two for my 2wd SC10.... any suggestions??

Are you running mod in your SC10 ? If so the 5670 is a great pack for the price. If you want more performance the 6570 or out of spec 7270 should be considered.

Just ordered a 4S 6500...or pre-ordered I guess. Can't wait to give it a shot.

What about the 5600mah race formula? |
