Yes I posted one on the site as a customer changed his order so we had one left. It will ship on Monday.

For charging I think 2 to 3C should be what you charge at as this will give you a full charge.

Happy to hear you liked the pack, what are you running for ESC and Motor in your SCTE?

RX8/tenshock SC411 4600kv. got a chance to run it some more this weekend. i don't know if my 6.0 nano's are getting old, but the SMC battery KILLS it. i mean the difference is NOT minimal. it's a huge difference. i'll probably order a couple more and scrap the nano's...

Even a new so called Nano pack couldn't compare to our 6500. We just don't use gimmicks to market our packs. In fact I tested a Nano 6.0 pack awhile ago and it was not very impressive as far as IR and average voltage but you must admit when you read what they claim you feel like buying it.

how would you say your batteries compare to Gens Ace? Currently own 2 5000 50c gens ace and am on the market to get a third battery so most likely looking for something different just to compare to the cheapys.

oh also I run a sc10 vtx10 orion 13.5t planning on getting this batt. http://www.smc-racing.net/index.php?...product_id=111

Very hard for me to talk about packs from other companies as most will think I'm biased.

The one thing I can say is at one time Gens Ace were using packs with Magnesium added to the cells to lower the IR and keep the price down. This made for strong packs but the downside is they would lose allot of mAh real fast so the voltage curve would go down. I have noticed they have gone away from selling packs with this formulation so the packs are what I consider regular packs now.

When it comes to mAh the higher you go the better the voltage curve will be if you buy packs with low IR. All our Race Formula 70C packs are designed to have the lowest IR for that mAh. I'm very confident that this would be the best pack you have ever run especially if you'r using 5000s.

Let me know how you like it once you give it a try. I'm very confident you will feel an improvement over the run.

picked up a couple more 6500/70c's. i figured it wouldn't work with just one. i really should gear down a tooth or two with the SMC versus the nano (at least the ones i have). the difference is just too great and doesn't lend itself to consistent driving.

I bought several SMC packs about a year ago. All I can say is; they are the best batteries even if they were twice their price!

They continue to have low IR and maintain high mah for any given pack.

I'll not be buying any more batteries for a while as I don't get to race as much as I wanted, so my packs continue to perform as they did when brand new. My packs have ~20-30 cycles, if that helps anyone determine what a great battery SMC sells.

BTW, they totally out perform my Gens Ace batteries under the same conditions. Not such much as when both were new, but, after ~10-15 cycles, my Gens Ace started dropping in mah they held, and the IR rose quite a bit.

Sorry about the price difference but we decided to only sell SMC packs off our online site to keep prices as low as possible on the best possible packs. So much BS and crap in the Lipo market that it has become so hard to sell packs unless you play the BS game which I refuse to do.

You most likely got Gens Ace packs with Magnesium in the formulation these were very bad at holding up. To be fair I think the packs they sell now are using a regular formulation.

Just posted our new Race Formula 5600-70C pack info on our website. First shipment will be in next week. We have this pack on a great special until the end of December.

Will be listing 2 new packs later today as well.

One will be a 4300-50C short case and the other a 6500-60C regular case.

For the 4600-70C short case with real 4600 these should come in around the 19th of this month.

Really working hard to have a pack for everyones needs.
