The new BEC is buff & the CPU upgrade makes the ESC smoother than ever ...

Are you unable to read? I read the instructions that why I sent mine in. That is my point. Mine have been there over two weeks with no ETA as to when they will come back. As of right now they have no date for when they will begin the upgrades again because they are out of the boards!!!. They cant even assure that mine will be done with the next batch. call and ask
Try to be patient , Lrp will come though for you ...

Very pleased with. Feel & performance with the new board makes for a noticeable improvement ...

I'm screwed as well, at least people have offered me esc's to borrow.
like i said, It took 6 months last time to get a swap done to the sxx v2.
I expected them (AE) to screw it up and they did!.
Funny thing is mine were sent in with a team drivers esc's....LMAO

I'm not one who usually speaks up about stuff like this, but I REALLY cannot belive how bad some of you are complaining. You DO realize that they are offering you something for free, right? You ALSO know that if this FREE upgrade wasn't available you'd be paying $90+ to get it, right? I'm also going to assume that all of you know that you weren't FORCED to send in your ESC's.
They probably had a large order of boards, and didn't expect to get slammed with a X amount of orders to be filled before the second batch came. You, just like everyone else, have to wait. It's pretty saddening to see people whining and bitching when you're getting something for FREE. Not to mention we don't know for a fact the boards are out of stock. All we have is hearsay from someone on an internet forum. You want it done right? Coulda PAID LRP for the board and they would have shipped it to your house with instructions on how to perform the task at hand.

We paid a high price for a faulty or maybe better said ill designed product.
LRP messed up, and the appropriate action would be to make things right.
They had a decision to make since they probably received a lot of complaints from their suppliers and customers regarding the Bec problem
I've been too busy with work to send mine in but it's on my list of things to do but I don't expect it back for at least 3 months (just like last time a had a defective speedo).

It isn't free if you have to buy new esc's to race with while these are being updated, is it?
They don't even know when they will ship out now.
Nope no one put a gun to my head and said send them in, but hey they offered a 2 week turn around, so I have time!
My first big series race is Oct 26 and I'll have them back by the 10th of Oct, great send them in.
Mine got there 9 days into the campaign (sept 19) and they couldn't meet their marketing timeline.
They should've been expecting a HUGE onslaught as it is a free upgrade!
3 month offer for North America and at the start of on-road carpet season!
Sorry to rant but this isn't the first time AE has mislead or not come true on their word.
They tried to make things right with a great marketing campaign, but failed on the execution.
I don't think this was an option. Nor IMHO would they warranty the esc if the board went bad.
