I am running my LRP Flow with a 1S LiPo and a Novak 1S booster. The Booster Module (#5477) does not include LiPo cutoff circuitry. When running the booster with 1S am I supposed set the LRP's cut off voltage to 3.2V or 6.4V?

3.2v or just disable the voltage cut-off altogether.

Tossed up between a Flow Works and an R10 this week to go into a TRF418

After a fair amount of research and deliberation on hitting the checkout button, I've ordered the LRP with an X20 13.5t to run in blinky on a rather large track (they also run 1/5th scale).

Considered pairing with a D3.5 but the price on the pair plus some neater cosmetics (it matters, right?) swayed to blue.

Main pro's for the LRP over the R10 for me were;
- it's newer
- the R10 is about to be obsolete
- no program card to get the best from it
- about to get new firmware, assume for the upcoming worlds (possibly unlikely the R10 will see any as it is being replaced)
- higher voltage BEC
- lower price when combined with matching motor
- easier soldering tabs (well, looks that way to me)

Going to start with a FDR of 5.55, see how we go. I expect slowly at first.

Don't fail me LRP - this is my entry into racing after always wanting to do it as kid :)

Dont trust the lrp man go hobbywing,r10,speedpassion 1.1 ex,ive had two flows both failed last lrp i can remember having no issue was the lrp spx back in the day lol, what has happen to lrp?.last one failed after two meets

too late. as I said, see how we go.

there are good, bad and horrific stories out there about every brand.

AS much as they fail me i cant stop using them they do have a nice feel

I'm running in 13.5 boosted with X20 and flow esc anyone have a good starting point set up for the current software on a mid size track. 6 min race.

I have a LRP competition ESC. what would happen if I use a lower turn motor lets say 4.5 modified?

With a 4.5T the ESC will probably die in a little cloud of smoke sooner or later (probably sooner), as it is only rated for 9.5T

The LRP Comp ESC has less fets inside which results in less amps output. A 4.5 motor would heat up the ESC too quick and over heat.

Hi,
What's the best firm ware to run in the Flow with X20 13.5 boosted,
I'll be running an Mi5 at West London for the BTCC,
Thanks,
Mark

Hi. I have a small problem. Running my X20 17.5 in boosted all runs well. I tried a KillShot and D3.5 , and when i rev the motor , it boosts fine and then looses it. I tried sensor cable , other battery , even re-calibrated the radio and esc. Has anyone else had the same problem?

How much motor timing have you set? if you back of the motor timing does it still have the problem?
