Hi,

I'm running the HRS spektrum in my 3vc, works great, but any of the spektrum systems will work. I'd recommend the pro series though, with the cool micro receivers, and ability to use either digital or analogue servos you can't go wrong

That receiver that has no aerial wire is being made by Futaba but it's not out yet. You would also have to buy the module made by Futaba as well to run that receiver

Hope this helps

I have a EX-10 with the pro installed, and no problems.

One question though does anyone know at what voltage the failsafe activates (it would be even nicer to know it was protecting my Lipos to) Oh and i love the micro reciever so so small and the ariel wouldent even reach the roof of my m18!!!!!!!

it's not a voltage that the failsafe kicks in at, it's at a loss of signal. The SR3500 has a minimum operating voltage of 3.2V if that's what you wanted to know.

Can't find any info about whether the Spektrum is compatible with the Hitec Eclipse Pro Car 3-channel stick radio...anyone know?

Does that radio use the same module as the CRX and SRX? If so it should work.

Im having a problem with my Spektrum suddenly.

Symptoms:
- I lose my connection at the far corners of the track. Esp the one near some power lines they are working on but not sure if that is a coincidence (it is also the furthest corner away)

- Power Lines?
- Something wrong with my Spektrum receiver (micro)
- Something wrong with my Module? I dropped it a couple months ago and broke the clip on the inside. Tried repairing that twice unsuccessfully. Hadnt had problems after doing that until recently.
- I have tried both with and without the cap. When I had the cap in the battery slot versus the accessory it seemed to fix it for a bit but when I added my brushless back it got bad again.

Ideas?

Equipment:
- Spektrum Micro Receiver
- Sphere Comp ESC
- Regular and Lipo battery. Seemed worse with the Lipo
- Brushless and Brushed motors (seemed worse with brushless)
- With and without fans attached it did it.

Also Im going to run 3 fans next week hardwired to the battery. Do I need to be concerned?

Orbital,

I had the same problem about 7 months ago. My pan cars went full throttle whenever they went certain distance away from me.

Later I realized that my antenna cover came apart as I mistakenly hit a fence. During that time, I immediately put it back in place without checking the wire inside.

So I took apart my antenna and made sure that the wire inside is well extended rather than coiling together. Up until now, my spektrum never failed me even at 70meters away from me near a large array of fence.

Azmio, I assume you mean the antenna on the radio side? When I took my module apart there did seem to be quite a bit of antenna in the module part rather then the antenna tube. I couldnt figure out how though to make sure it was fully extended in the tube. How do I do that?

Gary:

Hi,

when running the 3500 (or any Sekturm Rx) with a KO Speedo is there anything I will have to do like bump up the voltage on the B.E.C.?????
also where do I get the antenna with the longer wire so I can do the antenna install in the radio. I,d feel much better with the antenna in the radio than hanging off the back of the radio.

Thanks
