I guess you could just cut the white wire and when you need to program you have to touch the wire with the red and black ones.I would not recommend it though.

If you wanted to you could cut the switch off and solder the red and black wires and when you need to calibrate it you touch the white wire to the red and black then plug in the battery to get it into program mode. This is just a short term solution, you should have the unit looked at.

Default Which motor and esc for 1/8 buggy

Thinking bout getting electric 1/8 buggy. Which esc and motor combo would you guys recommend? Also how do these hold up compared to the other brands? Been out of racing for a while. Was into nitro but every one at the track is running electric now. What about 1/8 truggy what motor would you guys recommend for that class?

I would go with that for both with your choice of motor. Hobbywings are top notch budget friendly units that can hold up to tekin or any other brand.

If you mean your membership discount code, i had no problem using mine thursday, basically got my sensor wire free with it. It may be case sensitive.

I don't run one with my 13.5 stuff. The speed control doesn't get hot. Granted I'm in PA and I'm sure your temps are higher in AZ. I would just check the temps when you get off the track . There is no negative to running a fan. Plus IMO its a good thing to have if in say a buggy with limited air flow.

I just sent in an xtreme stock speedo with bad motor outputs in for warranty, I was told it could take 10 days to repair. I just got a new one in the mail haha. Thanks hobbywing for the quick turn around.
