too much, i'd rather get the radiopost ones. i might just keep my hitec 7954 servos. maybe i would consider those if the price was 150 max. they need to be competitive to sell. if they priced them at 130, they would sell 2x the amount of servos and make more money.
im getting ready to send a servo back to hitec which failed and almost cost me a race, i will see how hitec customer service is and decide if i will spend up to 150 on one of these servos.
the price thing is why those radiopost servos are selling so well, exceptional specs and very competitive pricing

I will try a couple when they are available even at the higher price. I think its a great idea, just hope it lives up to the hype. As the market expands the price will come down if they live up to expectations.

Yeah, a little pricey!! They should be awesome servo's though, but I LOVE the Radiopost servos! They are priced well and specs are GREAT!! Also, they are SUPER quiet, you cant even hear them, I ave the Radiopost and still have Hitecs (all 7955's) and they are both good servos, I did have 2 7955 go out this year (one was my fault, left the car on and failsafe caused it) but their customer service is GREAT, they replaced both broken servos. Have not had a issue with the Radiopost ones, but I know they have TOP KNOTCH customer service as well

Whats really attractive to me is the low power consumption, even my 7954s, 2 heats, 40 mins practice, and two mains and 7.3v still on the lipo. Wonder how good it will be with these servos.

Not sure what hopes and dreams everyone is living here...
Getting back to reality: If the upper echelon Hitec HV servos are all $150 or so currently, no way these Brushless ones will be below $150... Rather run KO or Futaba for that price.

Why?
At the end of the day they all either move the wheels or the throttle.
I have seen every brand of servo break including high dollar KOs, at least you know Hitech customer service takes care of it's customers.

The thing that scares me about Hitec is that people rave about their service...
