Remember....BOOST 323stock is no longer only used for stock motor now, our driver has tested the software in and out and has been using it with 6.5 7.5 on 2WD 4WD and SCT and has great result....

All setup sheet are listed here...

thanks.. but i really don't need any boost with a 7.5 turn in a 2wd buggy :) As flat, smooth, and linear as possible is the way to go!

You are correct...alot of our driver PREFER not to boost....straight 205 and 6.5 motor is PLENTY fast for them. Our setup show most of the setup are straight 205, no boost/SC.

We don't have any new software for the Silver Arrow 2 ESC.

It will be used on my friends rc8b and possibly rc8t (both his tekins took a dump a few weeks apart lol)........

I can read that two ways I hope it doesn't blow min up lol im running an old hacker 13.5 and love it lol next is a d3 10.5. What's different about it and what will I notice about it

SCTom 06-14-2011 05:39 PM

New 323 software has more adjustments, stronger brakes and 64 degrees of total timing. I ran the 212 software with a Duo 3 17.5 and was happy, but the 323 is definetly better.

Im running my first Speed Passion set up. Silver Arrow 2.0 & Cirtix or what ever its called 2200kv in my 1/8 truggy on 4s and seems to be decent. Motos not that great, but the ESC is solid. I know its a Hobbywing Xerun, but thats OK! Hobbiewings great!

What do you mean "Motors not that great"?

I'm considering buying this combo, but I want to be able to compete - are you saying that you can't do that with a Cirtex motor?

They both come with fans. You won't need the fan for the 2wd, but using it in the 4wd would be a good idea.

Its not that great for heavy 1/8s. Its only 36mm in diameter and seems to run pretty warm. I have it geared very conservatively to keep it at 160 in my 1/8 truggy.

RCaddict0 - Thanks for the info.

Think I might try it anyway, as I will use it in a Buggy, and not a Truggy. We'll see.

Cheers,
Peter

The EX version is not a good choice for the 6.5 4x4. The EX is mostly intended for 1 cell. Suggest either a 2.0 PRO or 2.1. Or if you already have them, maybe switch the 2 around, the EX can handle 2S with milder motors as I understand it.
